Dr. Karyn Bischoff Selected as 2024 ABVT Service Award Recipient
The ABVT periodically recognizes diplomates within the organization who make an outstanding contribution to the art and science of veterinary toxicology and/or to the ABVT organization itself.
Dr. Karyn Bischoff has been a valued member of ABVT since 1999. On her 25th anniversary of becoming a Diplomate of the ABVT, she received the organization's esteemed Service Award. She has served on various ABVT and AVMA committees over the years representing veterinary toxicology. Dr. Bischoff earned her Master's in Science at Oklahoma State University and her DVM at the University of Illinois. More recently, she completed her Master's in Public Health at Cornell University. Dr. Bischoff works as an Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Population Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences at Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine, where she teaches veterinary students and provides expertise to the New York Animal Health Diagnostic Center.
